installing the entrance gate into the Rally Field

entrance gate and access track- spring 2005
Please don't swing on the gates or climb over them, they are all
easy enough to open. Where you find gates closed, please be sure to
close them behind you again
parking
area
We run our mower round the field to 'top' the long grass before your
marshalls arrive, and once we've all agreed the area your rally
needs we'll mow that grass shorter before the main rally arrives.
siting caravans
Your visitors should consider carrying levelling blocks, which may
be useful. We have some available if needed.
In
the interests of safety, the speed limit at all times on both the
gravel access track and on the grass within the boundary of the
rally field is 5mph.
pets
Well behaved pets are of course welcome.
Dogs must be kept on leads no more than 6 feet or 2metres long at
all times on the site.
Pets must never be left unattended during your stay.
Please don't let pets annoy anyone else and of course please be sure
to clean up after them.
Exercise pets round the perimeter of the field away from the parked
caravans, or it's only 400 metres from our main gate to Tralee Beach
for a quick walk.
overhead power lines
Beware of the overheard power lines running across the field and do
not attempt to fly kites.
Site your flags and pennants with care.
water
Please ensure all water taps and hoses are properly switched off
after use.
CCEP
The chemical waste disposal point is a flushing system situated
behind the wooden screen in the corner of the garden to the right of
the house. Please replace the lid after use and turn off the
hosepipe water after rinsing round.
We usually cut a pathway in the long grass up to the gate nearest
the house for those who prefer to stroll up to the emptying point,
or visitors can pop the container into the car, and drive up and
park beside the house.
refuse
Please place all your refuse in bags before disposal into our bins.
damage
miscellaneous
Please report any damage or breakages at once.
games
Please do not allow your children to play ball games close to
camping units as damage is easily caused and expensive to repair.
Countryside Code
Please follow the countryside code during your stay at Highfield
